Farming

Jerry Stokesberry and Alan "Moe" Rochester wrangle turkeys into a trailer for transport from the field where they are raised near Olympia. Stokesberry started farming 10 years ago after a career as a massage therapist. He sells his products, which include grass-fed beef, organic turkey, pork, organic duck and chicken meat and eggs at Seattle area farmers markets. "A farmer doesn't have a job," he said after gathering nearly 100 turkeys. "They have a lifestyle." (Joshua Trujillo, seattlepi.com)
